Sweet & Sour Pork (Gluten free)
Sweet & Sour Pork is a great snack for a picnic, school lunch box or what I like to call “a stomach liner”. This delicious meaty delight fills the gap for famished teens when they get home from school or while they’re studying for exams.
500g pork shoulder cubed
100g gluten free all-purpose flour
Pinch of salt
Oil for deep frying
Mix dry ingredients together and add enough soda water to form a thick batter. Make sure there are no lumps. Place pork in batter ensuring each cube is well covered. Remove the pork from the batter and place in the heated oil. Deep fry till golden and crispy. Remove and drain off excess oil. Serve with Sweet and Sour Sauce.
